Berries Berries Everywhere
T and I picked a flat of strawberries over the weekend so now I am looking for some good berry recipes. If you have any good ones please feel free to send them to me. I have already made sorbe and short cake as well as milkshakes for the kids, but I am looking for something new. Turns out a flat of berries is a lot!!

Moving?
So my brother has suggested a family Blog. I think this could be fun and have agreed to be a contributor. But since I have a hard enough time posting on this one I don't think I would be able to do two. So if the Barboza Blog becomes a reality I will move my posting and send you all the new link...

Hello, My Name is Spike and I am a Lazer Light-aholic
We have one cat who is addicted to a laser light toy. each evening he sits at the foot of the sofa and just stares at us waiting for the light to come on. He is so addicted to this thing if he hears something that sounds like the click of the light he starts twitching looking for it. It is so bad in fact that any sound similar will wake him from a sound sleep. And if we cut him off for a day it is like he is "tweaking" looking for his "fix" of this light drug.
He has even stolen the light a couple of times from the table. I think he is trying to turn it on himself but it is difficult without thumbs.
We are currently planing an intervention for him. He has a sponsor now we just have to get him to admit he has a problem, because as we all know that is the first step to recovery.

Photographic Irony
So currently I am re reading C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia. I haven't read this collection in years and with the movies now being made I thought it would be fun. The collection I have is all 7 books in one volume. Each night when I am done reading I set the book on the sofa. Each evening not long after I set the book down this is what you will see.
Apparently,Spike (this kitty in question) has decided it is up to him to protect Narnia in Aslan's absence.
In other news... T's disability has been approved...FINALLY! We got the findings from the hearing and the judge found fully in his favor!! Yeah!!! I may still take a little while for the money to come in but at least the whole ordeal is finally over.
