Playing Catch Up

There hasn’t been a whole lot going on over the last couple of weeks. I have been teaching a lot both in Rockland and Ellsworth. I enjoy teaching but it really wears me out.

One of the major changes is that Z has started medication for ADD. It has been wonderful. On the first day he took it he got a note home from school that said what a great day he had, as well as a great P.E. class. Since he has started the medication he has not had a behavior day below at least an 80% actually he has had three 100’s and one 97. I am so proud of him and even better than that he is proud of himself.

Other than that we are just getting ready for the big game. I am going to make a new chili recipe I think it will be good I’ll keep you posted.

Until Later…

17 down 2 to go!!!

Photobucket

They did it again!!! The New England Patriots beat the Jags in an amazing game Saturday night. This was the fastest game I think I have ever seen. Both teams were amazing. There were so few incomplete passes (Brady had only 2 during the whole game) and only 4 punts I think so the clock never stopped. Both teams just kept moving down the field. The difference...We moved it futher.

Next weekend Brady and the bunch will face the Chargers in New England at the AFC Championship game. I have to hand it to San Diago, they played a hard game against Indy. Between getting beat up physically, both L.T. and Rivers left the game injured and a seemingly endless string of bad calls against them they never gave up. And even with the help of the Refs Indy still lost!!!

This is the outcome I was hoping for I really didn't want to meet Indy in the Championship game again. The last time that happened the Pats lost the game solely on bad calls that the refs later admitted were bad, and I didn't want to see that happen again.

In other news... Well I guess there isn't much other news...

Gear up for next Sunday 3 pm

Until Later...

Feeling Better

I spent most of the past weekend laid up with the flu. I am feeling better now just a little tired. I did manage to watch the Playoff games.

There were two hard fought games this weekend. Jacksonville pulled it out to beat the Steelers by two. The Steelers looked a lot like the Washington Generals throughout this game. The Steelers worked hard but Big Ben still managed to blow it in the end.

Now on to the next game. Tennessee and San Diego! If Tennessee wins they will play the Pats if the Chargers take it the Pats will face Jacksonville. This was another nail biter. The Titans had the lead going into halftime then I’m not really sure what happened but San Diego came back and took the win. I think maybe the Titans forgot this was a playoff game and decided to take the second half off.

Results: Jacksonville at New England Sat 8 pm on CBS!! This ought to be one Hell of a game I believe the Pats will win but it won’t be easy, after all this isn’t Miami coming up. We will really have to work to stop the JAX run and collapse the pocket if we can do that we should be all set. I don’t think JAX will be able to stop our passing game effectively so as long as the weather holds out we should be in good shape.

In other news I made my first ever from scratch cake this weekend Devil’s Food. It came out pretty good if I do say so myself.

Other than that I pretty much took it easy and recovered from the flu.
